Random winner picker
Pick random winners with proof it was fair
Select winners from your contest, giveaway, raffle, or sweepstakes using a secure random draw. Every drawing is sealed with an integrity hash and published on a public results page – so participants can verify the outcome themselves.
Free plan available. No credit card required.
How it works
Pick a random winner in four steps
1. Add your entries
Import a CSV or Excel file, paste names, type them manually, or collect through a registration form. Supports names, emails, ticket numbers, or any identifier.
2. Set up prizes
Add one or more prizes with quantities. For example: 1 grand prize, 5 runner-up prizes, 20 consolation gifts. Each prize can have an image and description.
3. Draw winners
Click draw. The system assigns a cryptographic UUID to every entry, generates an integrity hash, and selects winners using a secure random number generator. The project locks automatically.
4. Share results
Winners can be notified by email. A public results page is generated with winners, integrity proof, and a self-verification lookup. Share the link on social media. Download a PDF certificate.
Why Raflia
More than a random name picker
Free tools paste names and click a button. Raflia is a professional drawing engine built for real contests and promotions.
Cryptographic integrity hash
A unique hash is computed before the drawing starts. After the draw, the results are sealed — nobody can change them, not even the organizer.
Project locking
After the final drawing, the project locks automatically. No entries can be added, removed, or modified. The draw is final and tamper-proof.
Public results page
Every drawing generates a shareable URL showing winners, drawing method, timestamp, and verification hash. Participants can check it themselves.
Weighted drawings
Give some participants more chances to win. Perfect for charity raffles where buying more tickets increases your odds, or loyalty programs with bonus entries.
PDF certificate
Download a professional PDF report with full drawing details, winner list, entry count, timestamp, and integrity proof. Ready for legal teams and compliance audits.
Multiple prizes per drawing
Add as many prize tiers as you need — 1 grand prize, 10 second prizes, 100 consolation gifts. All drawn in one go with automatic position ranking.
Full audit trail
Every action is logged — who added entries, when the draw was executed, which RNG method was used. Complete accountability for regulated promotions.
Flexible entry import
CSV, Excel, copy-paste, manual entry, or registration forms. Background processing handles large imports without slowing down your browser.
Self-verification lookup
On public results page, participants can type their entry name to confirm whether they entered and whether they won.
Winner management
Winners are notified by emails. They can accept or decline their prize. If a winner doesn’t respond or declines, a substitute is selected from the remaining entries — with full lineage tracking.
Winner anonymization
Choose how winners appear on the public results page — full name, partial (J* S*), initials only, or fully hidden (Winner #1, #2, #3). Set separately for the winners list and the opt-in public entries list.
Cross-round winner exclusion
Running a multi-stage contest? Previous-round winners are automatically excluded from later drawings. No manual cleanup needed — the system handles it.
Use cases
Who uses our random winner picker?
Social media giveaways
Export your Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube commenters into a list. Import them into Raflia and draw a verifiable winner. Share the public proof link in your next post to show followers the giveaway was fair.
Corporate sweepstakes
Running a product launch promotion or customer loyalty campaign? The PDF certificate and audit trail give your legal team everything they need to sign off on the drawing.

Frequently asked questions
Is the random winner picker really random?
Yes. Raflia uses a cryptographically secure random number generator (CSPRNG) to assign a unique UUID to every entry before drawing. The selection cannot be predicted or influenced by anyone, including the organizer. Each drawing also generates an integrity hash that proves the results were not tampered with after the draw.
How many entries can the random picker handle?
Raflia is designed to handle up to 1,000,000 entries per drawing. Large imports are processed in the background, so your browser stays responsive.
Can I pick multiple winners at once?
Yes. You can set up multiple prizes with different quantities – for example, 1 grand prize winner and 50 runner-up winners. All winners are drawn in a single drawing with automatic position ranking.
Can I use weighted entries so some people have more chances to win?
Yes. You can assign integer weights to entries. A participant with a weight of 5 has five times the chance of winning compared to someone with a weight of 1. This is useful for charity raffles, loyalty programs, or bonus entry promotions.
What formats can I import entries from?
You can import entries from CSV files, Excel spreadsheets, paste directly from a spreadsheet or text editor, add entries manually one by one, or collect entries through a customizable registration form.
Can participants verify the drawing was fair?
Yes, in two ways. Every drawing generates a public results page with the integrity hash, winner list, and drawing details. And with the self-verification lookup, participants can type their email or phone number directly on the results page to confirm whether they were entered and whether they won.
Can I control how winner names appear on the public results page?
Yes. Raflia offers four levels of anonymization: full name, partial name (e.g. F* L*), initials only, or fully hidden (Winner #1, Winner #2). You can set the anonymization level independently for the winners list and for the optional public entries list. This lets you balance transparency with privacy based on your contest’s requirements.
Can I run a multi-round contest where previous winners are excluded?
Yes. Cross-round winner exclusion is built in. When you run multiple drawings within a project, winners from earlier rounds are automatically excluded from later rounds. No manual cleanup is needed — the system handles deduplication across drawing tools.
What happens after I draw the winners?
The project locks automatically to prevent any changes to entries or results. A public results page is generated. You can download a PDF certificate with full drawing details. The results cannot be altered after the draw is complete.
Winners can receive an email notification. They can accept or decline their prize directly from the email. If a winner declines or doesn’t respond within your configured timeframe, a substitute winner can be selected from the remaining entries. The full chain of who replaced whom is tracked in the winner lineage display.
Is Raflia free to use?
Raflia has a free plan for basic drawings with limited entries. Paid plans start at $29/month and include unlimited campaigns, full entry methods, analytics, team accounts, and premium support.
Can I use Raflia for Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube giveaways?
Yes. Export your comment list from the social platform (or use a comment export tool), then import the names into Raflia. Draw a verifiable winner and share the public proof link in your next post. Participants see the drawing was fair, which builds trust and encourages future participation.
How is Raflia different from free random name pickers?
Free random name pickers are simple tools that select a name from a list using basic randomization. They don’t offer integrity proofs, public result pages, PDF certificates, project locking, weighted entries, multiple prize tiers, audit trails, or team accounts. Raflia is a professional drawing engine designed for real contests and promotions where trust and accountability matter.
What is Raflia’s relationship to RandomPicker.com?
Raflia is built by the same team behind RandomPicker.com, which has been running fair online drawings since 2011. Raflia is the next generation of the platform — rebuilt from the ground up with modern technology, stronger integrity guarantees, and a broader set of contest and promotion tools.
Can I use the random winner picker for regulated contests or legal lotteries?
Raflia provides cryptographic integrity proofs, full audit trails, and downloadable PDF certificates that can satisfy regulatory requirements. However, specific regulations vary by jurisdiction, so we recommend consulting with a legal advisor for your region. Our system is not licensed for purposes specifically regulated by law – lotteries, gaming, RMGs, etc.
